In 2020, from June 13 to 19, ecorisQ organises its seventh general assembly parallel to the 5th International Conference on Soil, Bio- and Eco-Engineering at the Bern University of Applied Sciences BFH-HAFL in Zollikofen (15 min. from the centre of Bern, Switzerland). As in the preceding SBEE conferences series, the conference aims to bring together researchers, practitioners, geotechnical and civil engineers, biologists, ecologists, geomorphologists and foresters to discuss current problems in soil-resource sustainability, soil erosion and slope stability research, and how to address these problems using soil, bio- and eco-engineering techniques. The preliminary programm and call for abstract submission can be found here. On the Friday (19th of June 2020), we will organise training courses on SOSlope (modelling slope stability and vegetation), SlideforMAP (regional scale modelling of shallow landslide dispositon and vegetation), Rockyfor (modelling rockfall and vegetation), BankforMAP (modelling streambank stability and vegetation).
