I'm getting in touch because I'm having trouble entering the input data required by Rockyfor3D. Is there anyone who could help me with some questions?
The working directory includes the ascii files with the same extent and the same cellsize, all raster maps are in GRID format, the decimals are preceded by a point and not by comma, but when I started by pushing the button (Run Simulation) an error occur, and is informed in the Messages window that the file dem.asc can not be loaded.
That being said, I have some questions:
I read in an article that ASCII files should have the name in parentheses by the type of map below for the simulation to work, is it true? How should the name of the ascii files be written? Can ascii files be any size? Is there any way to know what's going wrong?
About the raster maps, specifically roughness maps (rg70, rg20, rg10), they represent rocks which form obstacles for the falling block. These rocks, are the blocks already fallen?? That is, this parameter will only evaluate the influence of the rolled blocks that will be obstacles for the blocks that will be simulated? And how do I do with residences, do I evaluate their influence on this same parameter? So, can I use the value of 100m to force the simulated blocks to stop?
