ecorisQ was present as a sponsor at the Interpraevent 2024 conference, which took place from 10 to 13 June 2024 in the Conference Center Hofburg Vienna, Austria. We organised our general assembly in parallel, where all ecorisQ members were cordially invited. This took place from 18h30 – 20h00 on wednesday 12 June 2024 in MQ Vienna (MuseumsQuartier, 6 min. walk from the Hofburg) in Barocke Suite C. Our board member Dr. Chris Philipps kicked-off the GA with a 25 min. presentation on "Reflections on my 45 years of ‘bioengineering’ research on landslides and vegetation", which was both interesting and entertaining.
On friday 14 June 2024 we organised two full-day training courses at the BOKU in Vienna: one on landslide hazard assessment (see the details here: pdf Program landslide course(112 KB) ) and one on rockfall hazard assessment (see the details here: pdf Program rockfall course(111 KB) ) using ecorisQ tools and methods.
