The 8th Interdisciplinary Workshop on Rockfall Protection (ROCEXS) aims to bring together academics, researchers, managers and engineers to share recent findings and improvements, new methods and practical experiences in mitigating rockfall disasters. The workshop will focus on rockfall protection structures, including nature-based solutions, in terms of design, efficiency improvement, new solutions, study cases, etc. The workshop will last three days, from 7 to 9 July 2026. It will take place on the campus site of the University of Grenoble, France, a city surrounded by mountains and offering a wide range of accommodations. The workshop will include an excursion on the afternoon of the last day.
